Abandoned House Trap - Minecraft Bedrock Demo

This is the original demo video for the Abandoned House Trap created in Minecraft Bedrock.

The Abandoned House Trap for Minecraft Bedrock, began as a lazy weekend project when Randy Dreammaker was bored with working on the Fantasy Realm Atlantis area and Sand Battle Dome projects.

The goal was to create a cloned chest that would be hidden somewhere else with items in it, that a visitor to the raw and basic looking house would find.  But that wasn't enough, so SkyThrusters decided to add in some doors and windows that appear to lock in the victim.

Both of those worked really well, but it wasn't far enough, so Randy borrowed an idea from the Washington Has Fallen beta world project, where invisible powerful mobs appear in several of the more challenging missions.

The final result was a fully working trap that could be used in survival mode worlds to capture and harass players who decide to steal from the chests of other players in the world.

This Minecraft Weekend Project utilizes these commands:

  • Clone chest from a different location
  • Set block door
  • Set Block trapdoor
  • Set the direction and rotation of a door or trapdoor.
  • Door and Trapdoor rotation and direction numbers.
  • Set Block Redstone_block
  • Set Block Air
  • Summon Mobs
  • Give effect invisibility to Mobs
  • Give we weapons to Mobs
  • Kill Mobs

An unsuspecting unguarded chest that packs a big surprise

Looks like a normal abandoned house to the visitor, but
underneath this house is some wicked Minecraft
Command Block Coding.

Looks like there is no challenge to escaping this house without a door.
but you'll be sad, when you try.
